Product Description

History

No one is quite sure where the Minotaur came from, although stories of its parentage abound. Nonetheless, King Minos of Crete gained possession of the powerful beast and immediately set it loose inside the labyrinth, a twisted maze created by the great scientist Daedalus. Anyone who entered the labyrinth could not expect find a way out, but would eventually run into the hungry Minotaur. Tributes were sent into the labyrinth to face a certain fate, until the hero Theseus found a way to defeat the mighty Minotaur.

Story

Another one? So soon? The Minotaur wasn’t capable of smiling, but it could think like a human, and it was sure it smelled a man. Even in total darkness, the Minotaur feared nothing, knowing its nose would lead it to the unfortunate human. Suddenly, though, its hoof tripped over a rope stretched through a passageway. Clever, it thought to itself. It lifted its head and sniffed, then bellowed a roar, sure to scare whoever was roaming the labyrinth. Catching the scent, the Minotaur turned and galloped down a dark passageway, not knowing just how near the mighty Theseus stood at the ready.
