  • Bernie the Gator is Safari Ltd’s mascot and a friend to all animals, but he’s especially fond of alligators, being that he is one himself! This set features 4 alligator figures of varying sizes, perfect for any fan of Bernie and his fellow crocodilians.
  • Characteristics: The Bernie’s Buddies figure set contains four different alligator figures, including the stylized Bernie figure, the Wild Safari Alligator, the Wildlife Wonders™ Alligator, and the Incredible Creatures® Alligator with Babies.
  • Size and Color: These hand-painted figures are full of realistic, scientifically accurate detail…except for Bernie, the mascot of Safari Ltd, who features a fun, cartoony design.

    Bernie is 5 ½ inches long and 1 ½ inches tall, and is painted green above and cream below, with dark green scutes.

    The Wild Safari Alligator figure is 6 inches long and 3 ½ inches wide, and features a drab dark green coloration above with a lighter green below.

    The Wildlife Wonders™ Alligator figure measures 10 ½ inches long and 4 ¼ inches wide, and is dark brown above and a lighter yellowish brown below.

    The Incredible Creatures® Alligator with Babies figure is the biggest of all, measuring 12 inches long and 7 ½ inches wide, with a greenish brown above fading to a cream color below. The alligator babies are a dark drab moss green with mustard yellow striping.

    The American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) is one of two living members of the Alligatoridae family, the other being the Chinese Alligator. American Alligators live primarily in the southeastern United States, mostly in Louisiana and Florida. These scaly giants can grow over 15 feet in length and have remained largely unchanged over millions of years!
