The second largest fish found in today’s oceans, the basking shark is the only living member of the Cetorhinidae family. They typically reach sizes of 23 feet, and are one of three known species of shark that feeds entirely on plankton.

Size and Color: 5.75 inches long and 2.25 inches tall, our basking shark model is about the same size as a soda can resting on its side. Basking sharks have grayish-brown backs with lighter colored undersides.
